Workshop on Developing the Collective Economy in the Digital Era
Under the theme "Digital Transformation in the Collective Economy for Social Equity: New Perspectives and Solutions", a workshop was organized by the Lam Dong Cooperative Alliance, in coordination with the Raiffeisen Confederation (DGRV) in Vietnam, on February 26.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and analyzed a key question: How can technology become a catalyst for rapid and sustainable cooperative development rather than a barrier?
to address this, several priority solutions for the 2026–2031 period were proposed, including: building a shared digital data platform for cooperatives across the province; issuing financial support policies, particularly for small and medium-sized cooperatives investing in technology; standardizing criteria to assess digital transformation levels; strengthening training and management capacity; and promoting partnerships with technology enterprises to apply digital solutions in production and business activities.
The workshop served not only as a forum for experience sharing but also as an important step in defining the strategic direction of collective economic development amid accelerating digital transformation. It seeks to enable cooperatives to better understand current challenges, grasp emerging trends, proactively innovate their operations, enhance competitiveness, and ultimately improve members’ incomes within the collective economy.
