Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward Responds to the Cherry Blossom Festival – Da Lat Spring 2026
On the morning of January 11, at Cau Dat Tea Hill, the People’s Committee of Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward, (Lam Dong Province) held a program in response to the Cherry Blossom Festival – Da Lat Spring 2026, marking the beginning of a series of cultural, tourism and economic activities in the locality for the new year.

The event was attended by Comrade Dinh Van Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; representatives of local wards; along with a large number of local residents and visitors from inside and outside the province.


In his opening remarks, Mr Tran Hung Son, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward, emphasized that the program not only aims to honor the cherry blossom – an iconic symbol of Da Lat's identity – but also serves as a highlight to launch a series of cultural, tourism and economic development activities of Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward in 2026.

Through the event, the locality seeks to promote its image, strengthen community solidarity, foster a positive public spirit, and move toward sustainable development goals in the coming period.

The program was built on the synergy of “government-led, people-centered, business-partnered, visitor - centric and media- amplified” initiatives, aiming for an open, nature-friendly festival model that places experience at its core, minimizes stage-centered performances, enhances community activities, and preserves the identity of Da Lat as a green highland destination.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates, local residents and visitors took part in planting 50 cherry blossom trees at Cau Dat Tea Hill. The activity carries practical significance for environmental protection, landscape enhancement, and the gradual formation of an ecological space associated with Da Lat’s signature flower in the years ahead.

Within the framework of the program, delegates and visitors also toured OCOP booths showcasing local specialty products, reflecting the close linkage between agricultural production, experiential tourism and community-based economic development in Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward.

Adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the event, cherry blossom-themed souvenirs were presented to visitors sightseeing and taking photos during the morning.




Though small, these meaningful gifts left a positive impression and helped spread the image of the hospitality of Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward.

Many visitors expressed their admiration for the vibrant beauty of the cherry blossoms, describing the experience as an unforgettable highlight of their spring journey in the Central Highlands.

The response program to the Cherry Blossom Festival – Da Lat Spring 2026 in Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward has contributed to enriching local cultural life, promoting the value of natural landscapes, and laying a foundation for community-based festival activities to be maintained, expanded and sustainably developed in the future.
