Reviewing Progress and Setting Future Priorities

The conference will comprehensively assess the implementation of Da Lat’s commitments as a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network during the 2023–2026 period, identify difficulties and challenges, and establish development orientations for the coming years.

It will also provide a scientific forum for experts, researchers, managers, artists, cultural and creative businesses, and representatives of creative cities in Vietnam and abroad to exchange experiences, share successful models and discuss effective solutions.

The conference is expected to put forward recommendations, solutions and initiatives to promote Da Lat’s UNESCO Creative City of Music designation, contributing to the development of cultural industries, tourism and the creative economy, as well as greater international integration.

Da Lat became Vietnam’s first UNESCO Creative City of Music when it was officially designated on October 31, 2023, and received the title on December 30, 2023.
