“A New Look” Welcomes the Flower Festival
In preparation for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026, localities across Lam Dong are stepping up landscaping efforts and developing flower-lined streets to create a green, clean and beautiful environment for the festive season.

Everyone Plants Flowers, Every Household Adds Greenery
Preparations for the Flower Festival are taking place across wards and communes throughout the province, creating a lively atmosphere. Alongside efforts to upgrade transport infrastructure, improve public spaces and maintain environmental sanitation, localities are actively responding to the campaign, “Everyone Plants Flowers, Every Household Adds Flowers and Greenery in Celebration of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026.”
In Lang Biang – Da Lat Ward, the campaign is gaining strong momentum across residential areas. From improving home gardens and caring for green spaces to developing flower-lined streets, each initiative contributes to enhancing the landscape, raising environmental awareness and building greener, cleaner and more beautiful communities.
One notable initiative is the “Bright – Green – Clean – Beautiful” model, recently launched on To Huu Street by the Lang Biang – Da Lat Ward Women’s Union in coordination with Hop Thanh Residential Group. Along the approximately 300-meter stretch, 60 flower pots have been arranged, with a total investment of VND20 million mobilized through contributions from women officials and members. The flowers add color to the residential area, create a visual highlight and encourage collective efforts to build a green, clean and beautiful living environment.
“Bringing flowers to the street helps create a visual highlight and gives the residential area a fresh new look. Through this flower-lined street, we aim to raise awareness of environmental sanitation, encourage people to care for flowers and trees, and improve the landscape, creating a vibrant space in celebration of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival,” said Bon Jo Lien, Chairwoman of the Lang Biang – Da Lat Ward Women’s Union.

To date, the campaign, “Everyone Plants Flowers, Every Household Adds Flowers and Greenery in Celebration of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026,” has been implemented in all 74 communes and wards across the province. In central Da Lat, local authorities have translated the campaign into concrete initiatives, including flower-lined streets, small flower parks and floral installations, alongside landscaping improvements and efforts to encourage residents and businesses to participate.
Specifically, Xuan Huong – Da Lat Ward is developing floral landscapes along 10 key streets, featuring 17 decorative clusters. Lam Vien – Da Lat Ward is implementing six flower-lined streets; Cam Ly – Da Lat Ward is upgrading six streets; Xuan Truong – Da Lat Ward is developing floral projects and flower-lined streets in 12 residential groups; and Lang Biang – Da Lat Ward is developing six flower-lined streets.

Flowers Bloom Across the Province in Celebration
In response to the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026, communes and wards in the western part of the province are also encouraging officials, youth union members, young people and residents to join hands in planting and caring for flowers and trees, maintaining environmental sanitation and improving public spaces. From schools to residential neighborhoods, these activities are helping create a more orderly and attractive environment while fostering a stronger sense of community responsibility for building civilized and environmentally friendly living spaces.

In Dak Song Commune, the campaign is taking shape through practical activities closely connected to everyday life. The commune’s Youth Union has organized clean-up drives along flower-lined streets, collecting waste, clearing weeds, tending flowers and improving the surrounding landscape. Meanwhile, at Ngo Gia Tu Primary School, flower-planting and care activities have been introduced in individual classes, attracting student participation. Since the beginning of the school year, the school has made use of vacant spaces across its grounds to plant approximately 400 pots of flowers and ornamental plants.
Mai Tran Anh, Vice Chairman of the Dak Song Commune People’s Committee, said that planting and caring for flowers, together with environmental sanitation activities, are practical ways to respond to the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026. These efforts help raise public awareness and responsibility for environmental protection, encouraging residents to improve their home surroundings, care for trees and create bright, green, clean and beautiful village roads and residential areas. The locality also hopes the campaign will be maintained regularly and become part of the community’s awareness and daily habits.

For young people, responding to the Da Lat Flower Festival is also an opportunity to promote their pioneering role in spreading a green lifestyle. In Nam Gia Nghia Ward, the Youth Union has launched the campaign “Lam Dong Youth Sow the Seeds of Life and Bring Flowers into Bloom” through activities such as replanting flowers, maintaining youth-led projects and flower beds, caring for trees and cleaning streets.
The ward’s Youth Union is focusing on practical initiatives while encouraging youth union members, young people and residents to take part in caring for and protecting trees and maintaining the surrounding environment. These efforts aim to make environmental protection a regular community practice.
As flowers spread from urban streets to remote communes across the province, the festive atmosphere is becoming increasingly vibrant. Flower spaces and flower-lined streets are helping shape the distinctive landscape in celebration of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026.
