Located on Tung Lam Hill in Lang Biang Ward, Da Lat, the Western Highlands Museum of Biology is housed in a historic stone building constructed by the French in the 1940s.
After more than three years of restoration and renovation, the museum has reopened with a modern exhibition space showcasing more than 10,000 original specimens, including 2,160 newly added biological samples characteristic of the Central Highlands.
The collections range from mammals, birds, reptiles and insects to plants and fungi, offering visitors a vivid glimpse into the region’s rich biodiversity.

Divided into five themed areas – Central Highlands, Mountains, Forests, People and Life – the museum brings science closer to the public while highlighting the close relationship between people, forests and nature.
